A grant calendar shows all your grant activity on one page: every application deadline and every report deadline. I never felt like I had grants under control until I started using one.
Take an afternoon and get all your grant information in one spot. Then review it once a month, and you’ll always know what’s due in the next 30 to 60 days. That matters because grants are rarely a one-afternoon job. You may need to request letters of support or gather other materials, so you want each deadline on your radar early.
Even if you outsource your grant writing, keep a calendar. It’s how you manage your freelancer. When you have your check-in calls, you have something concrete to review together.
